Important: By creating an account or using ExamVerge, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must also agree on your behalf.

1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ExamVerge (the "Service"), operated by ExamVerge Ltd ("we", "us"). By registering an account or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you are registering on behalf of a child under 18, you (as parent or legal guardian) agree to these Terms on their behalf and are responsible for their use of the Service.

2. Service description

  • A parent monitoring dashboard
  • A personalised student dashboard

The Service is intended for educational preparation purposes only and does not guarantee any particular examination result.

3. Accounts & eligibility

Age: The Service is intended for students of school age (typically 9–17). Users under 13 must have verifiable parental consent before an account is created.

Accuracy: You must provide accurate information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

One account per person: You may not create multiple accounts. Sharing account credentials with others is not permitted.

Parent accounts: Parent accounts may be linked to child student accounts to enable monitoring. Parents are responsible for their child's use of the Service.

4. Subscriptions & payments

Free tier: Access to a limited number of free papers is available without payment.

Premium subscription: Full access requires a paid subscription, billed monthly or annually through Stripe. Prices are displayed on the pricing page and may change with 30 days' notice.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial periods except as required by UK consumer law.

UK Consumer Right to Cancel: Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have 14 days to cancel after subscribing and receive a full refund, unless you have already used the Service during that period.

Failed payments: If a payment fails, we will attempt to retry. After multiple failures, your account may be downgraded to the free tier.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to:

  • Attempt to copy, reproduce, or distribute examination questions for commercial purposes
  • Share account credentials to allow others to access premium content without paying

  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the Service
  • Upload or transmit harmful, unlawful, or offensive content

Violation of these terms may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.

6. Intellectual property

All content on ExamVerge — including but not limited to examination questions, answer explanations, analytics tools, software code, visual design, and branding — is owned by ExamVerge Ltd or our content partners and is protected by UK and international copyright law.

You may use the Service for personal educational purposes only. You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from any content without our express written permission.

Your personal data and exam results remain yours. You grant us a limited licence to process this data for the purpose of providing the Service.

7. Question content accuracy

Our mock papers are written and reviewed by qualified educators and are designed to reflect current UK curriculum requirements. However:

  • We cannot guarantee that every question perfectly mirrors actual examination content
  • Examination syllabuses change — papers are updated regularly but may not reflect the most recent changes
  • Explanations are provided for educational purposes and should not be treated as definitive marking scheme answers

If you believe a question or answer contains an error, please report it to content@examverge.com. We take accuracy seriously and review all reports promptly.

8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will achieve any particular examination result for any student.

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, ExamVerge Ltd shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the Service
  • Loss of data due to technical failure (we maintain backups but cannot guarantee zero data loss)
  • Any exam result or educational outcome
  • Third-party services (including Stripe payment processing)

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you to ExamVerge in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we reasonably believe your use poses a risk to other users or the platform.

You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights you may have under applicable law.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
